Isaac Hendrix

B.A. Chemistry, San Diego State University

Isaac is originally from Sacramento, CA and is currently a graduate student in the Chemistry graduate program interested in how natural products biosynthesis in the oral microbiome impacts human health and disease. Specifically, he is investigating compounds produced by health-associated bacteria with the goal of identifying novel mechanisms for health promotion. Outside of the lab, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and reading
